This robot has the ability to jump over obstacles and regain balance without falling over. It's front legs stop, propel upward, and as soon as the front legs propel forward, the hind legs retract to clear the obstacle. Upon landing, the front legs touch the ground and the hind legs then provide balance upon there landing about a second later. Joe Haj
Chris VanYe 1. It can detect obstacles and understand hope to jump over different height obstacles. 2. It scans the area in front of of it with a laser based vision system and then predicts the best position from which to jump in order to safely clear it.
1. The robot working without the use of cameras or other vision systems.
ReplyDelete2. It can jump over obstacle.
