Explain how it works.

  1. Autonomous
It uses a quadrotor system and keeps recomputing paths until the optimal path shifts to the other side of the obstacle and it can navigate through.

  2. I would say that it is both, it works by the guy controls it to get up to the height that he wants it at and then he uses something like an ultra sonic sensor.

  3. It uses both, controller to control it move and it can avoid things by itself.

    2. the quadcopter uses "real-time kinodynamic planning," which is obstacle avoidance in which the robots knows how it should move to avoid curtain obstacles.

  7. 1. It is both autonomous and remote controlled.
    2. The autonomous portion of the quadrotor works by using a motion capture system to avoid incoming obstacles in real time.

  8. It seems to be some variant of both, where it prioritizes remote controls over autonomous decisions.
