Yes. An event from history that we could effectively extrapolate this information from is the industrial revolution. Many items that were hand made became machine made. These jobs were effectively taken over and some people were out of work. However, other jobs opened up. For example, people were needed to fix and monitor the machines. -Katelyn
There will be some basic jobs that AI will take away, but in the same time, they provide some jobs that cannot be done by AI

I believe AI will over the next couple of years take the jobs of Americans, and live in a world where humans don't do anything work related.
